I02: Knowledge-Based Segmentation
The project "Knowledge-based Segmentation" aims to develop novel methods to recognize anatomical structures. Based on statistical shape models, the work in the first phase will focus on integrating semantic information, modelling dynamic organs and simplifying the extension and adaptability of the models employed. The results of this project will be used in multiple applications, for example for identifying landmarks for the knowledge base of the Cognitive System or for predicting movements in radiation therapy.
