R03: 4D Imaging of Blood Flow and Movement

The movement of organ morphology will be analyzed by multimodality 4D imaging and complemented by a further dimension - blood flow measurement - to achieve 5D-imaging. This will thereby enable the computerized generation of typical and individual organ boundary and blood flow models of the selected vascular system in the heart, aorta, liver, pancreas and rectum. The goal is to integrate these morphological and functional data into an interdisciplinary knowledge base.
